Lāna‘i Cat Sanctuary

The Lānaʻi Cat Sanctuary is a lush, 3.5 acre purradise, giving hundreds of feral cats a home for life and was voted one of the best things to do in Hawaiʻi. The sanctuary also protects the islandʻs many endangered birds. The sanctuary is open every day and all holidays from 10 am to 3 pm. No appointment or reservation is required. Admission is free. This 501c3 nonprofit relies on donations from visitors to fund its operations. The one-of-a-kind haven serves as a model for cat and conservation interests that rescue cats and protects the island’s native birds.
